Tour descriptionFrom the roofs of the Basilica, as night falls, discover a unique panorama of Lyon's historic site, a World Heritage Site.
The unusual nocturnal tour begins with an exploration of the basilica's hidden treasures: the Grand Tribune, the metal framework and the 23-bell carillon. You'll then climb up to the terrace of St. Michel and the top of the Observatory Tower, to enjoy the enchanting night-time view of the illuminated city of Lyon.

This tour requires climbing 345 steps (not recommended for people prone to vertigo or heart failure).
Roof access subject to weather conditions, as decided by your guide.
Suggested alternative route including the interior of the basilica.
Please be aware of transport times (you may have to wait at the funicular), the tour will start at the time indicated (it will be impossible to rejoin the group after departure).

- Children under 5 years of age: Places must be reserved at the 0-5 rate (free). Children count towards the number of visitors on the tour (subject to prefectoral decree).
- Free toilets on the esplanade.
- Tickets may be purchased on site at the Welcome Pavilion (glass building on the esplanade), subject to availability.
