Access and transport
Address: Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière, 8 place de Fourvière, 69005 Lyon.
By public transport: Funicular F2 from Vieux Lyon station, direction Fourvière (you may have to wait at the funicular on busy days).
By car: Pay parking spaces in front of the basilica (the car park on the esplanade to the left of the basilica is private).
By coach : Reserved spaces on rue Roger Radisson.
disable access: disable spaces in front of the basilica. Wheelchair ramps on both sides of the basilica. Lift available from 9am to 6.30pm, accessible via the esplanade.
On foot from St Jean: walk up from the Rosaire gardens (from 6.30am to 10.30pm).
The Basilica: Open to the public from 7am to 8pm.
The reception pavilion: Tourist information and ticket office, from 10am to 5pm.
Shops: 9am to 6.45pm.
Toilets: Open from 8am to 10pm.

Groups: Bookings can be made up to 15 days before the desired date, using the booking forms on the

CityCard: bookings only at the Lyon Tourist Office, place Bellecour (tel: 04 72 77 69 69).
The Fourvière sanctuary does not have a left-luggage office.
