Tour descriptionA time-travelling dove lives in the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière. A friend to young and old alike, it loves to share the history of this monument. Join your guide on a guided tour of the basilica, where you'll meet a Roman slave, a young Christian, a Lyonnais alderman, a sculptor and even the building's chief architect.
 
Visit designed for children aged between 8 to 10 (primary school).

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Tours available Monday to Friday.
  • Up to 3 simultaneous departures (3 groups of 15 people). For more than three groups, departures are 1 hour apart.
  • Tours in French.
  • Creative gift included.
  • Free toilets are available on the esplanade.
  • School groups can reserve a salle hors sac (please ask when booking).

TRANSPORT


Please be aware of transport times (you may have to wait at the funicular), as the tour will start at the time indicated (it will be impossible to rejoin the group after departure).
Bus parking is available on rue Roger Radisson.
 
Bookings can be made up to 15 days prior to the date of the tour. No tours in January.
