Roof access is subject to weather conditions, at your guide’s discretion. Alternatively, the tour will include the interior of the basilica.
Please be mindful of travelling time (possible wait at the funicular), the tour will start at the indicated time (impossible to join the group after departure).
From the rooftops of the basilica, discover a unique view of the entire historic site of Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the behind-the-scenes and hidden places of the basilica (the Great Tribune, the architects' office, the framework, the carillon...) and admire the view from the Saint Michael terrace and up to the top of the Observatory tower overlooking the city.

This tour requires climbing 345 steps (not recommended for people with vertigo or heart conditions).- For children under 5 years old: It is necessary to book places at the 0-5 years rate (free of charge), children count in the tour group (to respect the maximum number of visitors ).
- Toilets free of charge on the esplanade.
- Option to buy your tickets on site at the Welcome Pavilion (glass building on the esplanade), subject to availability.
